As we live in Ireland, getting legally married there is quite complicated and time-consuming. From the very beginning, we knew we would go to Georgia. Our friends had also gotten married there with the help of this agency, so we already trusted the process.
Georgia felt right in many ways — it’s beautiful, welcoming, full of character, and the food is incredible. There are direct flights from many European countries, which made it easy for our friends to join us on such an important day.
Why did you choose Georgia for your wedding?
Absolutely.
Everyone was left with the warmest memories, and both we and our friends stayed under the impression for a long time.
Did everything turn out as you had planned?
Feeling relaxed and not worrying about anything.
We wanted the day to be joyful, beautiful, and well-organised — without unnecessary stress or rushing.
What was most important to you in the wedding planning process?
For me, the biggest challenge was understanding how weddings in Georgia actually work — what needs to be considered, and how to find the right host, photographer, stylist, decorator, and other professionals.
At first, I thought I could manage everything on my own, but very quickly I realised how many details there were. It became clear that I wouldn’t be able to coordinate everything properly, so turning to an agency felt like the right decision. This same agency had already helped our friends, so I was confident in the result.
On our wedding day, the weather turned out to be very windy, and the ceremony location had to be changed at the very last moment. The team handled this instantly, and we are incredibly grateful for how calmly and efficiently it was resolved.

Why did you decide to work with a wedding agency instead of organising everything yourselves?
The first thing that caught our attention was the Instagram page — well-curated, with clear examples of different weddings and transparent pricing.
After our video call, I realised I would be working with very attentive and genuinely caring people who truly love what they do. The pricing was reasonable, and the communication was excellent from the very beginning.
What was the deciding factor in choosing our agency?
At any time of day or night, I could write in the chat and receive an immediate response — whether it was about the bridal bouquet, table décor, or even the smallest doubts.
The team always offered options and guided us through every decision, making the preparation process as comfortable as possible. Considering that only three months passed between the proposal and the wedding, everything came together remarkably well.

How was the planning process from a distance?
Honestly, I can’t imagine how communication could have been better.
No matter the time — morning or night — there was always a clear and thoughtful response to every question.

Were there any communication challenges?
Our guests loved it.
For many of them, it was their first time in Georgia. The locations were beautiful — from the ceremony to the restaurant with a stunning view over Tbilisi. The transfers were also very comfortable, with music and a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere.
How did your guests react to the format, location, and atmosphere?
Yes, a few weeks before the wedding, once all the vendors had been selected. That was the moment I truly relaxed and trusted the team completely.

Was there a moment when you realised you could fully trust the team?
Walking towards the groom.
Realising that the moment we had been waiting for was happening right then and there. And also the awareness that every guest had taken the time and made the effort to be with us on that day.

What was the most emotional moment for you personally?
First, imagine the format you truly want — and then trust the organisers. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or seek advice.
One of the highlights for us was our host, Pavel — a perfect match. I truly believe the choice of host can define the entire celebration. Don’t be afraid to have calls with different hosts and choose the one who feels right for you.
We would also recommend separating the legal registration and the celebration into different days, as we did. And allow more time for the ceremony and photo session — the day passes much faster than you expect.

What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding in Georgia?
What emotions do you feel now, looking back on that day?
Georgia is a country worth visiting simply to experience its atmosphere. And it is an ideal place to get married — especially if you plan to continue the celebration by travelling with your guests, visiting wineries or places like Kazbegi, just as we did.

What would you say to couples dreaming of a destination wedding?
Without a doubt, yes.

Would you recommend Georgia as a wedding destination to other couples?
Warm and gentle ones.
But also a slight sadness, knowing that such emotions can never be experienced in exactly the same way again.
